Price is set at £0 to allow you to check out - please transfer the membership fee of £50 by bank transfer within one week of checkout. Details of the bank account will be in your confirmation email. NB: If the second person would like to be able to access this website and book events for themselves, please have them register on the website for their own account (ie: create a login), let Brenda know, and we will set their membership level to 'Joint Member'. You do not need to pay for the membership level twice.

Dog Details

Are there any behavioural, health, fitness or other information that Surrey Canicross Club should know about your dog(s)? (Please note that this information will only be visible to Club Leadership)

Reactive Dogs
We do our best to offer a safe space to those with reactive dogs, however we do need some information to ensure our events are safe and inclusive to everyone. Reactivity comes across in various forms for different triggers, so please let us know what your dog struggles with, and how.

Please indicate which triggers or situations you are aware of, that your dog finds uncomfortable or scary, or that triggers specific behaviours such as resource guarding or space creating behaviours such as barking/lunging/snapping/biting or redirection onto nearby dogs/humans or themselves.

Please indicate what reactive behaviours your dog exhibits, so we can help manage them safely within the group. Examples of this may be: struggles stay calm in the car before walks, struggles to wait calmly or settle when out and about, ignoring other dogs, prey drive etc. If rhere is anything else you think we should know, please detail here.

Member Agreement
Please note that agreement and compliance with the following statements is a requirement of Surrey Canicross Membership. All documentation can be viewed under the Membership Menu section

I/we agree to abide by the Surrey Canicross Club Constitution, Policies, Terms & Conditions and any other requirements set out by the Club Insurers

I/we hereby certify that I/we are responsible for our own health, and that of our dog/s, and will not participate in Surrey Canicross Events unless we and our dog/s are physically fit and healthy. I/we understand that any physical activity, including that of running with my dog can pose a risk to myself and my dog. I/we confirm that I am voluntary participant and understand that by participating in these activities I may be at risk of injury.

I/we acknowledge and understand that at all times I/we are solely responsible for my dog, and my dog's actions. I/we hold Surrey Canicross Club and their representatives free of any liability, blame, cost, damages or at fault of any risk to myself/ourselves or my dog whether directly or indirectly as a result of attending a group or paired run.

I/we understand that as a Member I am insured under Surrey Canicross Club's Third Party Insurance cover. If I/we choose not to exercise this cover, I/we confirm that I/we hold a current insurance policy that covers third party liabilities when partaking in canicross and associated activities. I/we understand that our Membership may be cancelled if the Club is not provided with our certificate of insurance and proof of cover within 7 days or joining or renewing Membership.

I/we understand that photographs and video taken during Surrey Canicross events may be used for social media and marketing purposes You can ask Surrey Canicross to stop using images or video in which you appear at any time, in which case efforts will be taken to prevent them being used in future digital and offline publications but they may continue to appear in publications already in circulation. All photos and video content remains the intellectual property of Surrey Canicross and its Leaders.
